My Second Graze Box! + Get your own FREE box!

Yay, it's that time of the week again where I receive my Graze box! After receiving my first one for free, I was immediately hooked on the delicious snacks and decided to get another one. It only cost £3.99, and after finding what was inside, I'd quite happily pay that for every box. I literally received this box this morning and now it's practically finished!

Let's see what I got inside my Graze box this week:

Brooklyn Bites

These weren't my favourite snack, but they were still delicious. Brooklyn Bites consists of poppy seed pretzels, cheese cashews and roasted pumpkin seeds. The cheese cashews were particularly tasty. I'd definitely get this snack again.

Cheddar Gorge

Okay, this one I loved. Cheddar Gorge is made up of cheese cashews, salsa corn sticks and herb crackers. As you can imagine, they tasted cheesy and just really delicious. There's literally nothing left of this snack now, oops!

My Thai

My Thai was just basically baked soy bites with a chilli sauce and it was delicious, I could have eaten a whole bag of these. I wasn't a massive fan of the sauce, but I still managed to enjoy it. Again, there's basically nothing left of this snack!

Roasted Salt & Vinegar Nut Selection

These were absolutely delicious. I've never been a fan of nuts, but I think the fact that they're salt & vinegar flavoured makes them 100x better. Like the name implies, they're salt and vinegar flavoured almonds and peanuts.

So yeah, overall I'm really happy with this Graze box, everything was delicious and I can't wait to see what I get in my next one!

Do you want to try Graze for free? Well now you can! Visit Graze.com and you can get your first and fifth boxes for free! I definitely recommend giving it a go, especially if you're getting a free box! Go for it!

Ruby Woo!

It's official, I now own two MAC lipsticks, and I have a feeling I won't be stopping there!

This weekend I celebrated my 20th birthday by going to Edinburgh and shopping for the day. And of course I couldn't resist going to the MAC counter in Harvey Nichols and having a look around. Like last time, I must have spent a good fifteen minutes testing out lipsticks on my hand because I just couldn't choose one! I was tempted to just grab a handful and buy them all, but unfortunately my bank account wouldn't allow that.

I eventually settled for just one that I absolutely fell in love with, 'Ruby Woo'. I'd seen a few other bloggers wearing this shade and I just thought it was beautiful.

I think it's absolutely beautiful. It's a bright red colour which is something I've been after for a long time. I have tested it out already and it comes out beautifully on my lips. I have found it slightly more harder to apply than my other MAC lipstick, but nevertheless it still goes on and lasts for a pretty long time.

I honestly can't get over how much I love this colour. I'm not sure if I'd wear it everyday to work, but definitely on special occasions. I'll definitely be going back and adding another lipstick to my collection very soon, the question is... what colour will I pick next?!

Have you tried Ruby Woo yet? What's your favourite MAC lipstick?
Let me know!

The Porefessional: Review!

I was lying in bed scrolling through Twitter on my phone one Saturday morning (as you do), when I noticed a few people tweeting about a free sample of the Porefessional with Elle magazine. Immediately I got up, got dressed and ran out to Tesco to grab my own copy. I'm a massive fan of Benefit products and the Porefessional is a product that I've been dying to try, but with the full sized product being £24.50, I've always thought it's a bit too pricey.

The Porefessional is basically a primer which minimises the appearance of pores to make your skin look really smooth. I've never really used a primer before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but with it's price tag, I was expecting it to be pretty amazing. And to be honest, it actually is!

You can apply it under or over makeup, I've only applied it under so far, and it makes my skin feel so soft and smooth and it makes the rest of my makeup go on a lot more easily. I've got pretty large pores and it actually minimises the appearance of them and my skin almost instantly looks so much clearer.

This product just highlights why I love Benefit makeup products. Every single product I've tried so far, I've loved and that includes this little sample. I'm not sure if I'd like to pay £24.50 for the full sized version, I'd just be happy buying travel sized versions as they're usually a lot cheaper, and this little sample has actually lasted a good few weeks, which is impressive since I use it basically every day.

If you're like me and you suffer from large pores, definitely give this product a go, it honestly does everything it says on the tin and it's not disappointed me in any way. I highly recommend it. The only thing I would change about it would be the price of the full sized version, but hey, can't win them all!

Have you tried the Porefessional yet? What do you think of it?

My birthday wishlist! ❤️

This Saturday (24th May) I will be turning the big 20, that's right, I'll no longer be a teenager, instead I will be a grown up! A grown up who watches children's cartoons on Netflix, but nevertheless, a grown up! So I've decided, what better way to celebrate than to post my current birthday wishlist. I never usually write wishlists because I usually only want a few things. This year however, I have quite a large list. I'll narrow it down to just the top couple of things I want because the list is pretty long!

1. Zoeva Rose Gold Brushes

I have been dying for these brushes for a good couple of months now. I really need to get some decent makeup brushes and I just think these ones are absolutely beautiful and I must have them. I've read some really good reviews about them and they sound absolutely perfect.

2. Longchamp Le Pliage bag

I was watching Niomi Smart's 'What's In My Bag' video on YouTube and she has this bag in white and I think it's just so nice and pretty. It looks like it's a pretty decent size too which is a plus. I already own too many bags, but that doesn't stop me wanting this one!

3. Ted Baker makeup bag

Another bag! I've seen these little bags around for a while and I've always thought that they just look so cute and elegant. I bought a makeup bag from Primark not too long ago, but I definitely want to replace it with this one!

4. MAC lipstick

You may know that I recently had my first MAC makeup experience, and since then I've absolutely fallen in love with the lipstick I purchased. So now I literally want to buy every single lipstick that is available. I realise that I may not receive ALL of their lipsticks for my birthday, but I would like a few!

5. Just anything from Topshop

I'm a massive fan of Topshop, despite it being pretty expensive I still love their clothes. Because I've not been working recently, I've had to steer myself away from Topshop whenever I'm out shopping because I just can't afford to go in. Now that I have a job and my birthday's coming up, hopefully I can treat myself to a few lovely items of clothing.

6. Again, just anything from Benefit

I love Benefit makeup so much and I would buy everything if I could. It is more on the expensive side but definitely worth the money. Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to receive some products for my birthday. I actually have a voucher for a free makeover from Benefit, so I'll definitely be using that on Saturday as a little treat!

If you could have anything in the world, what would you ask for for your birthday?
Let me know!

Review: Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief ♥

I had been looking into getting a new moisturiser as the one I had been using wasn't really doing anything for me and just kind of left my skin feeling really greasy, which isn't good. I'd read and seen amazing reviews about the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief and I was pretty much desperate for it. But with a price tag of £32 or so, I wasn't really prepared to spend that much especially if I hadn't even tried it. So I did what anyone else would do... I went to eBay.

I managed to find a 15ml travel sized pot for around £7.50 and I thought that it would be perfect, that way I can try the product and if I don't like it, I haven't wasted a significant amount of money. So I went ahead and ordered it.

Once it arrived I tried it straight away. It is a really small pot, but I have to say that you do get a lot in it. The product is like a gel, and it's pink which I love!

I've only been using this product for about a week or so, but I've definitely noticed the improvements in my skin. I suffer from really dry skin so something that says 'extended thirst relief' is definitely something that I need. It's made my skin so soft and smooth and really keeps it hydrated for a good amount of time, which is something that other moisturisers haven't really done for me.

I think once I finish this little pot I'm definitely going to invest in the full sized version because I can honestly say that it's worth the money. I highly recommend giving this product a go, especially if you're like me and you suffer from dry skin, this product will do wonders for you. I honestly can't praise it enough!

Have you tried this moisturiser before? What's your favourite moisturiser?

My house was struck by lightning?!

So this won't be a beauty or fashion related post today, but instead more of a little story about a very interesting thing that happened to me this week. Just before I begin I'd like to apologise for the lack of posts, I started a new job on Monday and I've just been really busy and really tired, but hopefully I'll try to post more often from now on!

Anyway, on Tuesday I was coming home from work. I work in Edinburgh so I need to get a train there and back. And before I left work I could hear some pretty loud thunder which was pretty scary, and both my mum and my boyfriend had text me saying they were having thunder and lightning back home. So at this point i'm just hoping that the train signals aren't affected because I just want to get home.

Once I get off the train, I notice that the sky's pretty clear but it's kind of raining a little bit. So I get on a bus and head towards my house. As I'm on the bus I check my phone and I find a text, a missed call, and a voicemail left by my mum... never good, right? So I open the text message and I find: Hiya, house struck by lightning, firemen everywhere.

So at this point I'm thinking two things. One: is this a joke? Two: wait, what?

I check the voicemail left and it's basically just 30 seconds of our fire alarm going off, so that didn't really do anything to help me. Once I'm off the bus I call my mum and she explains that our house was struck by lightning and the phone/internet socket basically exploded off the wall and there's a hole in the roof. The good news is that there's no massive fire like I had been imagining!

So I finally get home and before I even get actually into my street I see two fire engines sitting outside my house. I walk inside and I find this:

That, ladies and gentlemen, would be where my internet used to be plugged in. Yep, of all things to explode in the house, it would be the internet!

Basically the lightning hit the top of the house and travelled down and found that socket to come out of and just blew it off the wall. Apart from this, there wasn't an awful lot of damage done to the house. Only a small part of the roof came off which I guess isn't too bad, it could have been worse.

So after this we had no electricity whatsoever and we couldn't get an electrician out until the following day. I had to go round to my boyfriend's house to shower that night and when I came home I just had to use my little torch on my phone to walk around the house.

The electrician came out the next day and managed to fix it a little bit, he couldn't fix it fully because he didn't have the right tools but he did manage to give us enough electricity to use lights and a few sockets around the house, which is better than nothing. He's hopefully coming back tomorrow to fix everything!

So yeah, that was my Tuesday night! I realise this may not have been the kind of post you'd expect to read on my blog, but it's about my life and I wanted to share it so I hope that's okay!

My First Graze Box!

So I realise this isn't exactly beauty or fashion related, but I really wanted to share it with you guys. Plus, it's my blog and I can write what I want!

Today I recevied my first Graze box in the post. If you don't know what Graze is, it's basically a company that send you a little box every week or so with four different healthy snack foods inside. I'm not exactly a healthy eater myself, but I thought I would just give it a go and see what I got.

I wasn't sure about it at first, I didn't know if it would be worth it, but one of my friends recommended it and told me how good it was, so I thought "why not". I found a code online which allows me to get my first and fifth boxes for free, normally they would cost £3.99, which isn't much but I'm not going to turn down a free one! You can choose from different types of boxes, there's the nibble box which gives you the full selection, the light box with low calorie snacks, the breakfast box, the chocolate box, the goody box, and the savoury box which is the one I decided to go for.

Once you create an account you can have a look through the different kinds of snacks you can get in your boxes and honestly, they look so amazing. There's a little rating system where you can 'bin' snacks that you don't ever want to receive, or you can 'like' or 'love' snacks you want to receive more often. I think it's a really good system so you don't ever receive any yucky things!

So basically I went through all the savoury snacks and binned any that I didn't want, and then my box was made up on the Thursday night and sent out the following day, and I received it today.

Inside there were a couple of leaflets and I even received two £5 gift vouchers to give to friends. After taking all that out I came to the snacks. I received:

Smoked beef jerky with tomato sauce

Black pepper pistachio nuts

Texan corn salsa

Sour cream & garlic crostini

I can honestly say that I love everything I received in my box, it all tastes so good. I'd say my favourite out of all of them is probably the Texan corn salsa, and my least favourite (if I have to have one) would have to be the beef jerky, I've never been the biggest fan of beef jerky, but i'll still eat it!

I think I'll definitely be getting another box as soon as possible, it's just something to look forward to and it's not even expensive! I definitely recommend giving Graze a try if you haven't already. I can't wait to see what I get in my next one!

Have any of you tried Graze?

Let me know!

Review: Primark False Nails! ♥

So if you read my earlier post about when I went shopping, you'll know that when I was in Primark I picked up some false nails which I think looked pretty cool. They're kind of comic book themed, which I love. They were only £1 so I decided to give them a go!

Now because they're from Primark and they were only £1, I wasn't expecting much to be honest. If you remember I tried the Nailene false nails a few weeks ago and I just didn't love them and they were around £7 so I was pretty disappointed. Anyway I kept an open mind whilst trying these ones.

They came in a little box of 24 nails with a tube of glue, pretty standard. Normally it takes me forever to find the right size of nail to cover my natural nails, but this time it only took a few minutes, they're pretty decent sized and not too big, which is a problem I normally have since I have pretty small nails.

Applying them always takes me a while because I normally end up sticking my fingers together by accident (I'm not the best at applying false nails). But when I finished I was actually really happy with the final result. When I tried the Nailene ones I found that my fingers got really sore straight away and they were just really uncomfortable. But with the Primark ones I think they're really comfortable and I actually keep forgetting that I have them on!

I'm really happy with these nails, I think they look really good and for £1 I'm actually really impressed! I've only had them on for a few hours just now, so I'm not too sure how long they'll last, especially since I'm starting a new job on Monday and I'll be typing a lot, so that'll be interesting! I definitely think I'll be buying more designs!

Have you tried these nails yet? What do you think of them?

No longer a MAC virgin!

That's right everyone, today I had my first MAC experience and it was wonderful.

Up until today I had always admired MAC products from a distance because everything seemed so expensive. Recently I had been looking online at their products to see what they had, and I absolutely fell in love with their lipsticks. Pretty much every single colour is beautiful and I now feel the need to collect all of them, which will not be good for my bank account.

So anyway, today I was over in Edinburgh for a quick meeting and after my meeting finished I had some time to kill before catching the bus home again. In Edinburgh there's a store called Harvey Nichols which sells all the really nice expensive stuff that I usually can't afford. I went in and literally as I entered, the MAC section was right beside me and I honestly couldn't resist having a look.

I think I spent a good 15 minutes looking at the lipsticks because I couldn't decide on which one I liked the most. I must have tested out at least 10 shades on my hand before I finally managed to settle on one, but now I wish I'd bought more than one.

The shade I settled on is called 'Please Me' and it's a really pretty dusty pink colour and I absolutely love it. It looks brighter in the pictures, it's not really as bright as that. I really wanted a nice pink shade more than anything else. It was really difficult to pick just one though because there were loads to choose from. My hand was pretty colourful afterwards!

I've not tried it out on my lips yet, mainly because it just looks so perfect and I don't want to ruin it! Obviously I will use it otherwise it'd be a waste of money. I've heard really good things about MAC lipsticks so I have pretty good expectations for it.

Once I've gathered the courage to actually use it I'll probably post a review about it. I can't imagine not loving this product and I'll probably be back at that MAC counter fairly soon!

Do you have any MAC lipsticks? What do you think of them?

Let me know!

Review: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm ♥

It's time for a review, yay!

Today I'll be reviewing the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm, which I discovered through one of my favourite YouTubers; Zoella.

I've never really been the type to wear lipstick or anything like that, mainly because I'd never really found a brand that I really liked. I'd tried a few brands in the past, but most of them didn't feel nice on my lips, or looked really cakey which I hated. But despite these past experiences, I'm alway open to trying new lip products. So when I found out about the Colorburst line, I thought I'd give it a go!

I've only bought one colour so far, mainly because I didn't want to spend loads of money on loads of colours and then discover that I don't really like the product. Now though, I wish I had bought more than one!

Honestly, I found it so difficult to pick just one colour, they're all so lovely. I finally decided on 'Striking' which is a really bright red. It wasn't too expensive, it only cost £7.99 from Boots. When I got home I tried it out straight away and I was really impressed.

It basically looks like a chubby crayon, which I really love because I personally think the shape of it makes it really easy to apply. It's got a really nice buttery consistency and it feels really nice on my lips, which I've never really had that before with other products I've tried.

One thing that I've found with this product is that it lasts a really long time and doesn't smudge easily. I applied this at around 7pm last night when I was getting ready and it was still on at 2am when I went to bed. The fact that it was still pretty much perfect after eating, drinking, a few kisses from the boyfriend, and brushing my teeth is pretty amazing I think. I'm really impressed with this product and I want to collect all of the colours because i'm obsessed.

There's also a Colorburst Lacquer Balm line which I've not tried yet, but after using this line, I definitely want to give them a go.

I highly recommend this product, I'm absolutely loving it and really can't fault it in any way. I didn't think would love it this much! I literally wear it every day now, even if i'm not going out anywhere, just because I love the colour and I actually forget I have it on until I look in the mirror.

Have you tried this product before? Do you love it as much as I do?
Let me know!

Lazy Day Tag!

It's time for another tag, yay! I really like doing tags because I feel like it's a good way for you guys to get to know me more. Today I'll be doing the Lazy Day Tag, a perfect tag to do on a Sunday afternoon. I saw this tag being done by one of my favourite YouTubers; CutiePieMarzia, and I thought it would be a cute little tag to do today!

1. Hair products?
If I'm having a lazy day at home, I probably won't bother washing my hair or do anything to it. So the only product I'd say I use would be dry shampoo. I usually use the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush, I really love the smell of it and it genuinely makes my hair look more acceptable if I have to run out quickly.

2. Makeup products?
Again, I don't really wear makeup if I'm just staying at home, I like to give my skin a break from makeup from time to time, and a lazy day at home is the perfect time to do that. Usually I'll wash my face, apply my moisturiser and that's it. But if I'm having company I'll only put on concealer, eyeliner and my eyebrows. The products I use are the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner, and HD Brows.

3. Outfits?
Pyjamas are my usual uniform for a lazy day if I'm not going out anywhere or expecting anyone. My pyjamas usually consist of shorts and an oversized t-shirt. But if I have to run out or if someone is coming over, I'll upgrade to leggings and an oversized t-shirt... a little bit more acceptable for running out to Tesco!

4. Tea or coffee?
I don't really drink either, to be honest. If I had to choose though for a lazy day, I'd probably go for tea. I've never had coffee before, but I can't imagine liking it. I do like a good old cup of tea every now and again though.

5. Snacks?
My snacks for a lazy day usually consist of lots and lots of crisps and chocolate. Nothing healthy at all there. If it's a really horrible day outside, I love to just curl up in bed with a pack of chocolate digestive biscuits and eat them all.

6. Pampering items?
I love having a nice hot bath on a lazy day to treat myself. Nothing feels better than getting into a hot bubble bath and relaxing. I'll try and get it as bubbly as possible, and I actually really love the Matey Bubblebath I used to get when I was little. Yes I realise it's for kids, but I just love the bottle and it makes a tonne of bubbles.

I realise this might not have been the most exciting tag, but I hope you still enjoyed it. I tag all of you who read this to do it next!

I Went Shopping! ♥

It's been a while since I've gone shopping and actually bought a lot of stuff, I've been trying to not spend as much money as I would like to until I start my new job, but today I decided to treat myself and buy a few things I'd been wanting for a while. I didn't exactly buy tonnes of stuff, but I thought I'd just share with you guys what I did buy.

I only went to two shops, so I'll start with Boots, since I only bought two things from there.

Colorsport 24 Hour Eyeliner - £7.75

The first thing I grabbed was the Colorsport 24 Hour Eyeliner in black. I've been looking for a new liquid liner for a while and this was suggested to me by the lovely Abbi, so I thought I'd give it a go. Once I've used it I'll probably write a review about it.

A Brush With Greatness - £6.50

The second and last thing I grabbed was the Brush With Greatness by Soap & Glory. It's basically a cleansing brush for your face. My mum has one and since I saw it, I've really wanted my own to try. I'm a massive fan of Soap & Glory, so when I saw they did a brush I knew that I wanted to try theirs. One side has white bristles to exfoliate, and the other has little pink silicone bristles to deep cleanse your skin. I can't wait to give it a go!

I also went to Primark and picked up a few little things from there.

 Pug & Popcorn boxers - £1.75

I always love the underwear section in Primark, especially the little boxers they have, they always have the cutest and funniest design. Today I picked up two with designs that I absolutely loved as soon as I saw them! If you know anything about me, it's that I am a pug fanatic so when I saw the pug design, I grabbed them straight away. Then I saw the popcorn ones and they just made me smile. They have loads of different designs, and for £1.75 you can buy loads!

Floral Pyjama Shorts - £4.00

Since it's getting closer to summer, I've been making the transition from long pyjama pants to cute little shorts. So when I saw these I instantly loved them and picked them up. There were loads of different designs and I literally wanted all of them, but I managed to control myself and just buy one pair. I'll probably go back pretty soon though and get the others!

Underwear set - £4.00

I briefly went into the underwear section, normally I don't really look at the underwear as they usually don't have my size. Today was no different, but they did have one or two pairs in my size so I grabbed these ones. I just thought it was pretty cute and it looks pretty comfy as well, which is a plus!

Fashion Nails - £1

I've loved the false nails Primark has recently gotten in. There were loads of different designs, but I absolutely loved these comic book style ones. I'll definitely be trying them out soon!

Pocket Mirror - £1

Right next to the nails there were loads of little pocket mirrors with cute designs. I've been meaning to get a mirror for a while now so when I saw this pink polka dot one I grabbed it!

Fluffy Heart Pillow - £3

I love the home section in Primark, I'm always buying bedsheets and pillows, and today was no different. I already have way too many pillows on my bed, but I couldn't resist picking up this fluffy heart shaped one. It's super soft, plus it was only £3!

Striped Flats - £3

I tried not to spend too long at the shoe section because I always end up buying way more shoes than I need. Today I was good though and I only bought one pair of shoes! I think they look quite nautical, which I love. Plus they're pretty comfy!

Striped T-shirt - £3.50

The last thing I picked up was this navy striped t-shirt, purely because it matches the shoes and I thought it would look good! I love the t-shirts Primark have, they're always so soft and they fit really well.

That's all I bought today! I hope you enjoyed this little haul, what was your favourite item?
Let me know!
